Geoweasel Invades Newgrounds

Posted by Geoweasel - May 17th, 2010

Geoweasel began as a webcomic back in 2002 and in late 2004 made the jump to an animated series, premiering right here on Newgrounds. In the first couple of years, a handful of Geoweasel cartoons were submitted to the Flash Portal to try and gain feedback and bring in new viewers, but other than that, there was little integration of the series with the rest of the Flash animation community. Now, we're starting back at square one to reintroduce you to the series and expand the ways you enjoy the show. Keep in mind that the first few episodes get the series off to a rocky start, but you will soon see that Geoweasel has improved greatly over the past five years. So if you're not already familiar with the series, I hope you'll bear with us and check out the show. And for anyone out there who may already be a fan, I hope that you will get reacquainted with the cartoon and its characters. We will begin uploading all the episodes in order on a weekly basis, but you can always visit Geoweasel.com where over 40 cartoons are already available. And remember, your support is what keeps this show alive, so remember to vote, leave feedback, and tell your friends!
Best wishes,
-Niko Anesti

Good luck, Niko! Hope this'll get you back into making more full-length episodes!

Whaaaaat's up

"...you will soon see that Geoweasel has improved greatly over the past five years"

And yet the microphone quality remains the same ;D

Hahaha, seriously, I was completely oblivious to it up until sometime within the past year. My old computer didn't have very good speakers, and my old laptop's built in speakers didn't do much justice either, and for some reason, I never used headphones. So I always assumed that what I was hearing was fine until one episode apparently sounded really gurgly, so I listened to it with headphones and was astounded at how bad it was. I'm getting a nice new mic soon. Probably a Snowball. I was looking at one in an Apple store yesterday.
